Welcome to NZASAP!
Thanks for dropping by!
We hope you'll pick up a little more about who we are and what makes us tick. We hope you like what you see and we can help each other help the planet to stabilize its GHG emissions as soon as possible.
In short, our name's our aim; our aim's our name.
WHAT WE THINK
We figure folk needs a reset, for all our sakes. Unbridled consumption and expansion have brought us to the point where, as the late great Wangari Maathai said in her 2004 Nobel Acceptance speech 'humanity is threatening its own life-support system.' She continued by saying we are called to heal the planet; we believe this. She added 'and in so doing, to heal ourselves'.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help each other heal the planet and to feel good in doing it. This is a long road; let's not be miserable about it.
We can't change the past, but we can change the present and change the ending.
WHAT WE DO
We truly believe in the instantly iconic words of Amanda Gorman.
We are rolling out 5 new Global Citizen Engagement Programs: three of which will mobilize, we hope, right around the world, a goodly number of people in the quest for our objective. As we release them into the public domain, details will be provided.
Two others will focus on Media Access.
HOW WE DO IT
Our Values:
Law-abiding.
Polite.
Positive.
Pragmatically
Proactive.
Up, up in the air is not where you will find us.
